        "rendered": "<p>Scientia International Press announces the permanent call for the submission of scientific book chapters to the Scientia International Open Books editorial program, an international continuous publication line dedicated to the dissemination of research, applied studies, theoretical reflections, systematized experiences, and academic productions across different fields of knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The call receives chapters throughout the year, in any language, reaffirming Scientia International Press\u2019s commitment to multilingualism, linguistic inclusion, and the global circulation of scientific knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After scientific approval, chapters may be published in the original language and\/or in translated versions into Portuguese, English, and Spanish, according to editorial decision, technical feasibility, and production workflow. Editorial metadata may be made available in up to six languages: Portuguese, Spanish, English, French, German, and Mandarin Chinese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/scientiaopenbooks\">Submit your chapter<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Continuous publication with individual DOI<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Approved chapters may be published individually on the Scientia International Press platform within 15 business days after:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>confirmation of payment of the editorial publication fee;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>submission of the approved final version;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>signing of the publication authorization;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>validation of editorial metadata.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Each published chapter will include its own page, individual PDF, individual DOI, Creative Commons license, multilingual metadata, and recommended citation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of each semiannual editorial cycle, approved and published chapters will be gathered into consolidated e-books, organized by area, thematic affinity, and scientific coherence. Each e-book will receive its own title, ISBN, DOI for the complete work, editorial presentation, final table of contents, and open access digital publication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Editorial screening, evaluation, and publication deadlines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After submission through the official form, the manuscript will undergo initial editorial screening. This stage will preferably be completed within 7 business days after receipt of the complete submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chapters approved in the initial editorial screening will be forwarded for scientific evaluation. The ordinary deadline for issuing the editorial decision will be up to 30 business days, counted from the confirmation that the submission is complete and ready for evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Publication within 15 business days refers exclusively to the stage after final scientific approval, confirmation of payment of the editorial publication fee, submission of the approved final version, signing of the publication authorization, and validation of metadata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accepted texts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The call accepts original texts, as well as expanded, adapted, updated, or reformulated versions of previous academic productions, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>works published in conference proceedings;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>scientific communications presented at academic events;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>texts derived from theses and dissertations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>research reports;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>academic projects;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>productions linked to research groups;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>theoretical, empirical, methodological, or interdisciplinary studies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Submissions must present an effective scientific contribution, transparency regarding the origin of the text, and respect for copyright.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Editorial areas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The call welcomes chapters in the following editorial areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Education, Training, and Learning Processes;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Humanities, Culture, Arts, and Languages;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Society, Politics, Law, and Institutional Relations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Economics, Management, Innovation, and Development;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health, Life, Care, and Well-Being;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biological, Environmental, Agricultural, and Earth Sciences;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exact Sciences, Engineering, and Technologies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interdisciplinary Studies, Frontiers of Knowledge, and Emerging Topics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Formatting guidelines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Chapters must be submitted in an editable file, preferably in DOCX format, and must follow APA style for citations, references, tables, figures, and other bibliographic elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The editorial team may request formal adjustments before forwarding the chapter for scientific evaluation or editorial preparation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Number of authors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Each chapter may have individual or collective authorship, with a maximum limit of 12 authors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chapters with more than 12 authors will only be accepted with prior authorization from the Scientia International Press editorial team, based on a justification submitted at the time of submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All authors must have effectively contributed to the preparation of the chapter. Authorship changes after submission must be formally justified and may depend on approval by the editorial team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Editorial cycles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The call remains open throughout the year, but e-books will be consolidated in semiannual cycles:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cycle 1: chapters received and approved by June 30.<br>Editorial consolidation: July and August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cycle 2: chapters received and approved by December 31.<br>Editorial consolidation: January and February of the following year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chapters approved after the end of a cycle may be published individually on a continuous basis and integrated into the following editorial cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Editorial publication fee<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The editorial publication fee will only be requested after scientific approval of the chapter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Standard international editorial fee<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>up to 30,000 characters with spaces: \u20ac250<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>from 30,001 to 50,000 characters with spaces: \u20ac280<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>above 50,000 characters with spaces: \u20ac300<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Specific editorial condition for authors affiliated with Brazilian institutions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For authors affiliated with Brazilian institutions, Scientia International Press may apply a specific editorial condition in Brazilian reais:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>up to 30,000 characters with spaces: R$ 400<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>from 30,001 to 50,000 characters with spaces: R$ 450<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>above 50,000 characters with spaces: R$ 500<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This specific condition considers the Brazilian editorial, institutional, and academic context and is not automatically cumulative with other institutional discounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fee includes editorial evaluation, scientific review, editorial and linguistic preparation, editorial translation into Portuguese, English, and\/or Spanish according to editorial decision, metadata in up to six languages, layout formatting, individual DOI, and open access publication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/scientiaopenbooks\">Submit your chapter<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Discounts and waivers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Authors affiliated with institutions located in countries classified by Research4Life may request a discount according to Scientia International\u2019s institutional policy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>20% discount for Group A countries;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>10% discount for Group B countries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Research4Life discounts apply to the standard international editorial fee in euros.
