Scientia International acelera su innovación con el apoyo de la UE, EOI, Telefónica y Wayra

Scientia Internacional has been selected for the Startup Acceleration Program, an initiative promoted by the Fundación EOI and funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU, as part of Spain’s Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan.

As part of this initiative, Telefónica and Wayra will provide structured acceleration, connecting tech startups to a global innovation ecosystem, allowing Scientia Internacional to expand its impact in the dissemination of scientific knowledge.

About Wayra and its role in acceleration

Wayra, Telefónica’s open innovation initiative, functions as a Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) investing in startups and connecting them to the market. With a presence in seven countries and a network of over 140 strategic partners, Wayra has invested €233 million in more than 1,100 startups, making it one of the most important innovation accelerators globally.

The program, led by Fundación EOI, supports innovative startups and fosters the development of new technology-based businesses by providing strategic support and specialized training at no cost to participants.

This initiative is part of Component 13 of Spain’s Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU, aiming to accelerate the growth of 6,100 startups and innovative entrepreneurs across Spain.
