Scientia International re-opens its call for Editors-in-Chief and Associate Editors

Scientia International has re-opened its call to expand the editorial team across its open-access, multilingual journals. We are seeking Editors-in-Chief (compensated leadership roles) and Associate Editors (honorific roles with APC benefits) to help strengthen our international network under open peer review (OPR) and PT/ES/EN publishing.

Why join

  • Real impact: shape rigorous, transparent journals in open access.
  • Multilingual publishing: work across Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
  • Global visibility: collaborate with a diverse community of editors, reviewers, and authors.

Roles and benefits

Editor-in-Chief (EIC) — compensated
Lead the journal’s scope and direction, build an international Editorial Board, and safeguard ethics and quality. Our phased model includes: a €1,200 Launch Bonus upon completion of initial goals, guaranteed quarterly honorarium (growing with journal maturity), performance bonuses (e.g., Scopus/WoS indexing), and a 5% share of annual net revenue at consolidation.
Details: see the accordion (Compensation & Phases) on the page program details.

Associate Editor — honorific
Coordinate peer-review workflows (screening, inviting reviewers, following reports) and support internationalization. The Rewards Program recognizes annual contribution with APC discounts or a full waiver (per levels achieved).
Details: see the accordion (Rewards Program) on the page program details.
