Scientia International: Global sciencie in open access!

Scientia International is a publishing startup dedicated to transforming the global dissemination of scientific knowledge. Committed to innovation, progress, and human development, our mission is to make scientific knowledge widely accessible, overcoming language and financial barriers. We envision a world where high-quality scientific information is free and open to all, fostering collaboration among researchers from diverse countries and cultures.

Scientia International Press: Innovating in Scientific Publishing

As part of our mission, we launched Scientia International Press, the open access publishing division of Scientia International. Our goal is to promote the global dissemination of scientific knowledge and provide high-quality publishing services to the academic and scientific community, removing language and financial barriers.

Our Editorial Services

At Scientia International Press, we offer a range of specialized services for publishing e-books and open access scientific journals. Our experienced editorial team works closely with authors, editors, and reviewers to ensure rigorous manuscript evaluation, enhancing the quality and relevance of publications. Services include personalized editorial support, rigorous peer review, advanced plagiarism detection, open access publishing, global indexing, digital preservation, flexible licensing, and multilingual publishing.

Open Review and Linguistic Inclusivity

Recognizing linguistic diversity in academia, we have implemented an inclusive policy at Scientia International Journals. Articles are accepted in any language for publication and are translated into English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Metadata, including titles, abstracts, and keywords, is available in six languages: German, Spanish, French, English, Mandarin, and Portuguese. Books can be published in English, Portuguese, or Spanish without mandatory translation, respecting the author’s language choice. This initiative aims to make information accessible to a broader audience and help researchers from different linguistic regions discover relevant works.

Our progressive and transparent open review model fosters transparency by identifying reviewers and authors and publishing their reports alongside the articles. This approach promotes openness, accountability, constructive dialogue, and scientific knowledge improvement.

Our Vision and Commitment to Global Science Communication

Scientia International Press aspires to be a leader in multilingual open access publishing, providing a trusted, high-quality, and accessible publishing environment for researchers worldwide. We are committed to supporting the scientific community by promoting the broad and accessible dissemination of scientific knowledge. Through our open access publishing services, we aim to advance knowledge, drive scientific collaboration, and foster global innovation.

Government Support

Scientia International is recognized and supported by the governments of Portugal, Brazil, and Spain, affirming its mission to transform the global dissemination of scientific knowledge.

Recognition by the Portuguese Government

We were incubated at Regia-Douro Park, the result of a strategic collaboration with the Municipality of Vila Real, the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), and Portuspark. Our project gained significant momentum in 2023 when it was selected for the StartUP Visa Portugal program, promoted by IAPMEI – Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation, IP, under application number 1089. This program, an initiative by the Portuguese government, aimed to attract international entrepreneurs to create a dynamic innovation environment in Portugal.

This recognition and support between 2023 and 2024 reaffirm our mission to be an innovative leader in scientific publishing, connecting researchers and academics on a global, accessible platform.

Brazilian Government Support

In Brazil, Scientia International is registered under number 51.097.242/0001-86 and is recognized under Inova Simples, a Brazilian Government program aimed at disruptive and incremental businesses. This program provides a simplified path for the formalization and development of innovative companies.

Support from the Spanish Government

In addition to recognition in Portugal and Brazil, we also have the support of Spain, where we are incubated at CEEIM | Centro Europeo de Empresas e Innovación de Murcia. This incubation at CEEIM reinforces our commitment to innovation and international collaboration, providing access to a European network of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The support provided by CEEIM strengthens our mission to democratize access to scientific knowledge and enables Scientia International to thrive in an innovative environment, promoting connections between researchers and the global dissemination of open-access science.

These recognitions reaffirm our mission to lead innovation in scientific publishing. With support from the governments of Portugal, Brazil, and Spain, Scientia International is advancing to democratize access to scientific knowledge, connecting researchers and academics on a global, accessible platform.
