Scientia International Press officially begins its editorial journey with the publication of the e-book História, cultura e política / History, Culture and Politics, organized by Michel Goulart da Silva.
The publication also marks the launch of the international cooperation editorial imprint Scientia Global Editions: CLAEC e-Books, developed in partnership with CLAEC Editora, with the aim of strengthening the international circulation of open access scientific publications.
More than the publication of a book, this release represents an important step in the mission of Scientia International: to develop editorial, academic, and technological infrastructures capable of expanding the visibility, traceability, and international reach of scientific knowledge.
Scientific open access publishing requires more than making files available online. It involves editorial planning, academic responsibility, qualified metadata, preservation, indexing, international circulation, and a long-term commitment to the permanence of knowledge.
In this sense, the e-book was published in Portuguese and English, with a DOI for the complete book, individual DOIs for each chapter, a Spanish ISBN, e editorial metadata in six languages: Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, German, and Mandarin.
The book brings together contributions on history, culture, politics, ideology, international relations, political resistance, art, religion, conservatism, and social disputes, articulating different perspectives within the fields of the Humanities and Social Sciences.
With this first publication, Scientia International Press inaugurates an editorial line guided by academic rigor, institutional cooperation, open access, and the multilingual circulation of scientific knowledge.
